I’m taking a class in social development and another in childhood in the global context and I love these classes! I never knew that comfort/touch is another of our primary needs. It crucial for our survival, we’ve looked at orphans (most studies are done on Romanian orphans) and how they have lower IQ, anxiety and attachment problems in their adult years simply because they are not held enough and given enough individual attention. 

Anyway, learning about these things really make me want to take the child and youth worker program at college after I finish my degree.

So i’m just wondering if any of my followers are currently working as one and/or knows someones who is?
